Claim Help Scout
We created this listing from Help Scout's own public pages, without asking. Claiming it proves you work there and marks the page as your company's.
Two ways, both automatic
Prove you control the domain
- 1
An email address at helpscout.com
Covers most claimsOpen your Garage with an address at helpscout.com. Signing in sent a code to that mailbox, so you have already proved you can read it, and the claim completes at once. A subdomain such as mail.helpscout.com works too, because plenty of companies send from one.
Free mailboxes are refused. A token delivered to a Gmail address proves you own that mailbox and nothing about helpscout.com.
- 2
A DNS record on helpscout.com
If you have no company mailboxPublish a TXT record and we check it. Stronger than email, and the route for founders whose mail is elsewhere.

The deal, in full
A claim buys the right to speak, never the right to rank
Yours to change, as editing arrives
Today a claim puts your company’s name on the page, and lets you answer reviews when they open. Editing these arrives later.
