Version 2026-10-26. Draft: not yet reviewed by our solicitor.
Investor terms
These terms apply to Launch500’s investor access. Our terms of use and, for anything you write here, the contributor terms apply as well. How we handle personal data is in our privacy notice.
What investor access is
Investor access is a Crew account with one thing added: a list of the companies on Launch500 that say they are raising and have chosen to give investors an address, with that address, the product and the day the company said it was raising. It costs £19.99 a month or £149.99 a year. No VAT is charged: 99 Developers Ltd is not VAT-registered. As a Crew member you may review and vote on products as anyone else may; an account that holds or has held investor access does not post in discussions. Investor access is for people aged 18 or over.
What Launch500 is not
- We do not arrange, advise on, recommend or promote any investment, and nothing on Launch500 is an offer of, or an invitation to buy, any security.
- A company’s Raising status is its own statement. We do not check it, and we hold and show nothing about any round: no amount, valuation, stage, terms or documents.
- Launch500 carries no messages between investors and companies, or between investors and other members. You write to a company yourself, off Launch500.
- We do not check investors or companies, and we are not part of any conversation you have.
Using the addresses
- Use an address only to write to that company about its raise, as an investor or for an investor you work for.
- Never resell or share the list, add an address to a mailing list, or send to it by automated bulk email. Do not copy the list out of Launch500 except to write to a company yourself.
- Say who you are in every message, and stop writing to a company that asks you to. You are responsible for following the rules on marketing email (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) and data protection law in what you send.
- Anything you communicate about an investment, and any investment you make, is your own responsibility, including under the UK’s rules on financial promotions and any checks you are required to make.
If you break these rules we may end your access at once, without a refund for the rest of the period.
The companies’ addresses
A company’s address appears only when one of its administrators chose to give it to investors and agreed to this use. It can change or remove the address at any time, and it is removed the moment the company stops saying it is raising. Removed addresses leave your list at once.
Reviews by investors
The contributor terms’ rule on conflicts applies to you as to anyone: do not review a product of a company you have invested in, are discussing an investment with, or act for.
Payment, renewal and cancelling
- You pay through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year, at the same price, until you cancel.
- Cancel at any time from the link in your account. Your access then runs to the end of the period you have paid for, and nothing more is taken.
- If you buy as a consumer, you may cancel within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund, even though your access starts at once. Cancel from the link in your account within those days, or tell us through the contact page, and we refund that payment in full and end the subscription.
- We will tell you at least 30 days before a price change applies to you, and you may cancel before it does.
- A full refund or a dispute of your latest payment ends your access at once.
Ending access
We may end investor access if we must by law, if you misuse the list as above, or if we close the service; if we close it for reasons other than your misuse, we refund the unused part of your period.
Questions and complaints
Write to us as our complaints policy explains. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
