How to cite a Crash Test report
- Link to the report’s own page, its address under /reviews.
- Give the version and the date it was tested, both printed at the top of the report: a result describes that dated version, not the product today.
- Quote the verdict with its date. If the report says Vendor-commissioned, say so: the vendor paid for the test, and the report was published whatever it found.
- A Crash Test is independent scrutiny of a product, not a certification, and a pass is not a place on the annual list.
