Version 2026-10-01. Draft: not yet reviewed by our solicitor.

Complaints and reporting

Every complaint and report follows one path. We give it a reference, acknowledge it, keep the evidence before anything changes, and a person decides the outcome. Reports can hide a listing for a while, as described below, but only a person removes anything. We record what we did, and we tell you the outcome.

How to reach us

The quickest way is this form. Choose the topic and it goes to the desk that handles it: the Trust and Safety Desk for complaints about content, a listing or our service.

Send us a message

It goes by email to the desk that handles it. Nothing you send here is stored on the site.

Read by our Trust and Safety Desk. We respond as quickly as we can and try to find a solution.

We reply here, and only about this message.

0 of 4000 characters, at least 20.

We send your message to our team by email through Resend, and email you a reference. The privacy notice says how long we keep correspondence.

Where to send what

  1. A factual error in our content: corrections@launch500.com (or use the contact form). If we accept it, we fix it and add an entry to the corrections log.
  2. A listing about your company, to remove it, change a fact, or show your initials instead of your logo: claims@launch500.com (or use the contact form). You can also claim the page yourself, as the vendor terms describe.
  3. Our service, or an order: complaints@launch500.com (or use the contact form).
  4. A legal complaint about our own content, such as defamation, malicious falsehood or intellectual property: complaints@launch500.com (or use the contact form). We acknowledge it, keep the evidence, pass it to a company officer, and correct in public any real factual error.
  5. Your personal data: privacy@launch500.com (or use the contact form), as the privacy notice explains.
  6. A security vulnerability: security@launch500.com (or use the contact form), as our security.txt describes.

Reporting a listing

If you are signed in, you can use Report on a listing’s page. When three different Crew members report the same listing, it is hidden until our staff have looked at it, and they then restore or remove it.

A review you say is defamatory

Write to complaints@launch500.com (or use the contact form) with all of the following, which the law requires before we can act on the notice:

  • your name and email address;
  • the statement, and where on the site it appears;
  • what you say it means, and why it is defamatory of you;
  • which parts you say are factually inaccurate, or are opinions not supported by fact;
  • confirmation that you do not have enough information about the poster to bring proceedings against them; and
  • whether you agree to your name and email address being given to the poster.

What happens next

We notify the poster within 48 hours. The poster has 5 days to reply. If there is no valid reply, the statement comes down within 48 hours. Weekends and bank holidays do not count towards either 48-hour period.

Illegal content

Use Report on the review, response or profile. We acknowledge the report, a named person decides, we tell you the outcome, and you can appeal by writing to complaints@launch500.com (or use the contact form).

Evidence

We keep the evidence before we change anything. Where a complaint concerns a legal notice, we keep the evidence for 6 years, as the privacy notice says.

If you are not satisfied

  • About your personal data: the Information Commissioner’s Office, ico.org.uk, telephone 0303 123 1113.
  • About how a paid placement or a contributed piece is labelled: the Advertising Standards Authority, asa.org.uk.
