Preview. Launch500 opens to the public soon; payments here are in test mode and no money moves.

Run by 99 Developers Ltd. Listings and Crash Tests pay for it. Money never buys a score or a place on the list. What money cannot buy

Accounts

Are you in the pit lane, or on the bench?

Two account types, because judging software and being judged are different jobs and one login should not do both. Both are free to open.

Crew

Free

You are here to judge the software.

Buyers, operators and anyone who has used this stuff in anger. Free, and always will be.

What you get

  • Recommend the products you would stand behind, one each, counted in public
  • Report a listing or review that is spam, misleading or abusive
  • A copy of everything we hold about you, and deletion, from your account page

Coming later

  • Write reviews, published after automatic checks (opens once the privacy assessment is signed)
  • Follow products and get told when their pricing moves

What this account cannot do

  • List a product. That is a Garage account, and it is deliberately a different login.
  • Review a product while signed in at that company's own domain. The check is automatic.
  • Buy influence, or have it granted by us
Join the Crew

Garage

Free

You built the thing being judged.

Founders and teams with a product. Free to open, and the listing tiers sit inside it.

What you get

  • List your product free: live at once when you sign in with an address at its domain
  • Claim a page we already carry, by company email or a DNS record, with nobody to wait for
  • Your listings, claims and their status in one place, and your data on request

Coming later

  • Respond publicly to reviews, once each (opens with reviews)
  • Upload your logo, screenshots and offers

What this account cannot do

  • Recommend or vote on anything. Ever.
  • Write a review, leave a helpful vote, or ask anyone to remove one
  • See who wrote a review, published or held
  • Buy a score, a place on the Launch500 list, or a followed link, which are never for sale

Why they are separate logins

One person can hold both, and they stay two logins. A Garage never votes and never reviews, including on its own competitors, because an account that can both sell and score is the thing this site exists not to be.
