The seal needs all four of these. It cannot be bought, and we cannot grant it early. Each line is computed from data published on this page.

How each of these is measured

Crash Test · our own hands-on result

Not tested yet

We have not run this product through our bench. Everything below comes from its makers, its pricing page, or from members who use it, all labelled. An untested product is never ranked above a tested one on a category hub, because we have not looked at it.

What a Crash Test involves

Verified reviews · people who pay for it

Not enough verified reviews to publish a score. Most of the information in reviews arrives in the first ten, below a handful, an average is noise with a decimal point on it. The reviews we do have are shown in full below.

Scheduled for the bench

Every product in a category we cover gets tested, order is by search and prompt demand, not by who asks. A test date cannot be bought or brought forward.

When we test Obsidian it will face the same 0 scenarios as everything else in productivity and document collaboration software, and the report will name whoever ran it.

What verified users say

Sorted by most recent by default, never by rating. Negative reviews are never hidden, reordered or removed, vendors can respond once, publicly, and that is the whole of their power here.

No reviews yet

Reviews open 30 days after a product launches here. People who signed up through the launch get one invitation at 30 days and one at 90. That delay is deliberate, because a launch-day opinion is enthusiasm, not evidence.

Verified capabilities

Only facts we confirmed ourselves. Where the honest answer is a sentence rather than a tick, we write the sentence, safety-relevant features may not be recorded as a plain yes.

Pricing receipt

We have not captured Obsidian’s pricing page yet, so there is no receipt to show. We publish costs only from dated captures of the vendor’s own page, never from memory.
